The Lithuanian teams had some changes and new signings.
The Hockey Punks from Vilnius were the most active in the player market. Two players have been recruited.
It starts with 25-year-old defender Lukas Manomaitis, who joins the Hockey Punks directly from league rivals Energija Elektrenai. Manomaitis also played for Lithuania in the U18 and U20 national team, but after that he became very quiet around him. For the Hockey Punks he is no an unknown, he completed in the season 2017-18 already five games for the team of the capital city. Piquant detail, Manomaitis will make his debut today in the jersey of Punks in the match against Energija.
The second new entry is the Hockey Punks Alexei Kuveko. The 29-year-old forward from Belarus comes from Metallurg Zhlobin. There completed in the current season, however, only two games. Koveko will also play in today’s game against Energija.
Energija Elektrenai has also strengthened with Mikhail Yevstigneyev. The 22-year-old Russian has already gained considerable experience in Russian MHL. However, it was not enough for the big jump. In the Lithuanian league Yevstigneyev was already active in the 2017-18 season at Klaipeda Baltija and also reached the play-offs. The Russian will make his debut in today’s game against the Hockey Punks.
With these commitments, in the match between the Hockey Punks from Vilnius and Energija Elektrenai, there are three new players to watch today.
