KHL: Dinamo Riga loses third game in a row after over-time

Dinamo Riga had to beat Traktor once again after overtime 1-2 – Slovan conceded 3-6 debacle against Avtomobilist.

Dinamo Riga are still struggling to win a play-off spot and today they needed a win over Traktor. The game started promisingly, with McMillan putting the hosts 1-0 ahead after just one minute (1.). After that there were many chances on both sides, the goalies had their hands full. The only power play in the first section had Riga, but could not score. After the break the same picture, both teams in forward gear. After a good counterattack from Traktor Bergstrom serves the well-standing Stoa and this scored the equalizer to 1-1 (26.). After that, this encounter flattened a bit, the very big opportunities remained. Traktor also had the possibility of a power-play, also here fell no further goal.
